About bmad-agent-pm

bmad-agent-pm
Product manager for PRD creation and requirements discovery
bmad-agent-pm is a persona agent from the BMad Method project. It plays John, the Product Manager, who drives product requirements documents through user interviews, requirements discovery and stakeholder alignment. The persona translates a product vision into small, validated increments that development can ship, rather than one large unvalidated plan. It is invoked when you ask to talk to John or request the product manager. On activation it resolves its agent configuration from the project, so a team can adapt the persona, and it follows the path conventions for the skill and project. Typical uses are interviewing yourself or stakeholders to build a PRD, separating must-have from nice-to-have requirements, and turning a vision into a sequence of increments with clear validation points. The persona structures the conversation, but the requirements come from the people who know the users and the business, so check the document against real customer input and stakeholder agreement. The skill is part of a set of BMad personas that each cover a role in a software effort, and it passes its requirements on to the analyst, architect and developer personas. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk on skills.sh, and it has about 9,600 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/bmad-code-org/bmad-method --skill bmad-agent-pm.
