About bmad-product-brief

bmad-product-brief
Create, update, or validate a product brief
BMad Product Brief helps you create, refine or pressure-test a product brief. You bring an idea, an existing brief to refine, or a brief to challenge, and the skill works through it conversationally as an expert product analyst and coach. It does not do the thinking for you. It pushes hardest where assumptions are unexamined and eases off as the brief firms up or you signal fatigue. It draws out what is stuck in your head and what you may have forgotten. Briefs produced this way are meant to be honest and sized to their purpose. They do not pad or invent a competitive moat, and they state what is unknown alongside what is known. At the opening greeting, the skill tells you that you can call bmad-party-mode for multi-agent perspectives, or bmad-advanced-elicitation for deeper exploration, at any point. Use it when you want to turn a rough product idea into a brief you can build on. It reads its settings from the project's _bmad/ folder, and if BMad is not set up there it offers to run setup first. Part of the BMad Method project on GitHub, which has about 54,000 stars. The listing shows it as free, and its security audits show passes from Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
