grill-me
Interview the user relentlessly about a plan or design until reaching shared
by alirezarezvaniFree
Description
Grill-me is an agent skill that interviews you about a plan or design until you reach a shared understanding of it. It walks down each branch of the design tree and resolves the dependencies between decisions one at a time. Its rules keep the interview disciplined: it asks one question per turn and never bundles several together, it gives a recommended answer with each question rather than asking what you think, and it explores the codebase before asking when the answer can be found there. It also walks the tree depth-first, finishing one branch before moving to the next. The skill is derived from Matt Pocock's grill-me skill, which is released under the MIT licence, and this version keeps his interview discipline and adds extraction, a question format, session tools, reference notes and a wrapper for the claude-skills commands. It is useful when you want a plan stress-tested by questions rather than by a summary. The skill is listed on skills.sh as part of the alirezarezvani claude-skills plugin.…
