The successor path is Prisma 8, where MongoDB support is in Early Access and PostgreSQL support is at release candidate. The skill frames the real choice: migrate to Prisma 8, which it encourages, or stay on v6 where a hard blocker applies, and it carries the migration steps while pointing to the official Prisma ORM 6 to 8 MongoDB guide as the source of truth.
