About understand-domain

understand-domain
Extract business domain knowledge from a codebase
understand-domain is an agent skill that pulls business-level knowledge out of a codebase: the domains the software covers, the business flows it runs, and the steps inside each flow. It turns that into an interactive horizontal flow graph in the Understand Anything dashboard, so non-engineers and new team members can follow what the product does rather than how the files are arranged. If the project already has a knowledge graph, the skill derives the domain view from it, which is quick because it does not rescan the files. If there is no graph, it does a lightweight scan that reads the file tree, finds entry points and samples key files. Pass the --full flag to force a fresh scan even when a graph exists. When run inside a git worktree, the output is written to the main repository so it is not lost when the session ends. It is useful for product, onboarding and documentation work on an existing codebase.
