About convex-self-heal

convex-self-heal
Production error → triaged, root-caused, repaired, and certified
convex-self-heal is an agent skill for a gated loop that repairs production errors in a Convex app. It takes a production error, triages it, finds the root cause, drafts a repair and certifies the fix before a person reviews it. The certification uses type checking, a rehearsal of the change on a preview of the deployment, and a check that the original error no longer reproduces. The result is a fix pull request for a human to merge, and after it is merged, the loop confirms that the error has gone. The skill contrasts this with error-monitoring services that can draft a pull request but treat the backend as opaque, so their diff is unverified when it reaches a reviewer. Convex can verify more, because the error records live in the app's own deployment and the fix can be rehearsed on a copy of that deployment. The skill never merges anything itself, since the human merge is the final gate. It is part of the get-convex agent-skills repository and is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. Its audits show Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passed, with Snyk showing a warning. It suits teams that want faster repairs with evidence attached.
