About bmad-agent-analyst

bmad-agent-analyst
Business analyst for market research, competitive analysis, and requirements
bmad-agent-analyst is a persona agent from the BMad Method project. It plays Mary, the Business Analyst, who brings expertise in market research, competitive analysis, requirements elicitation and domain knowledge. The persona translates vague needs into actionable specifications while staying grounded in evidence. It is used when you ask to talk to Mary or request the business analyst. On activation it resolves its agent configuration from the project, which lets a team customize the persona for its own use, and it follows the conventions for resolving paths within the skill and the project. Typical uses are working through a market, a set of competitors or a requirements question with a structured analyst, then carrying the findings into product planning. The persona is a working style rather than a real person, so verify market facts and competitor claims against sources, and treat the analysis as a starting point for the team's decisions. The skill is part of a set of BMad personas that each cover one role in a software effort, and it works alongside the product manager and architect personas. On skills.sh it passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, and Snyk shows a warning. It has about 9,500 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/bmad-code-org/bmad-method --skill bmad-agent-analyst.
