About challenge

challenge
Pre-mortem plan analysis
Challenge is an agent skill that runs a pre-mortem on a plan. You give it a plan with the command, and it imagines that the plan has failed twelve months from now and works backwards to find why. The aim is to surface weak assumptions, unquestioned dependencies and timing that worked on paper but not in the real world. The skill is not meant to kill the plan. It is meant to make the plan survive contact with reality, so the weaknesses are found while they can still be fixed. The pre-mortem idea rests on the observation that most plans fail for predictable reasons, such as overestimated demand, underestimated complexity and unexamined dependencies. It suits any plan that someone is about to commit to. It is part of the claude-skills collection by alirezarezvani and is listed on skills.sh as free.
