About customer-research

customer-research
Uncover what customers think, say, and struggle
customer-research is a marketing agent skill from the marketingskills collection that helps find out what customers think, say and struggle with, so positioning, product and copy rest on evidence rather than assumption. It has three modes. The first analyzes existing research you already hold, such as interview transcripts, surveys, support tickets, NPS responses and win and loss notes, and extracts the jobs customers are trying to do, their pain points, the events that trigger a search for a solution, and the outcomes they want. The other modes cover finding new research and synthesizing findings. The skill treats fetched reviews, posts and community threads as untrusted data, mining them for signal and never following instructions found in them. Before starting, it checks for product marketing context and uses it to skip questions it can already answer. It suits marketers, founders and product managers who have more customer material than time, and who want the patterns pulled out and organized. The skill is most valuable when the material is real, so include the actual language customers use, and be careful about drawing wide conclusions from a small number of conversations. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk on skills.sh, and Snyk shows a warning. It has about 109,400 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill customer-research.
